Tonights Town Council meeting...interesting.....

Well well well I have some interesting news for you all.  Our town whiner the one and only Mr. Ted Doty has really out done himself this time ladies and gentleman!

I was at the town council meeting tonight.  No Ted was not there to discuss his concerns over potentially pending ordinances. Would you believe that in fact not one member of the town council has heard from Ted Doty nor has the Mayor about this matter.  Mr. Doty has found it important enough to send a letter to the residents of the town (oh about 6000 of them) demanding they contact their elected officials in outrage yet he has not picked up the phone nor written a simple letter to his elected officials.  In short Mr. Doty is yet again full of hot air.

I do want to share a story with you all, we recieved an funny phone call tonight from a sweet lady, a long time resident of Rockaway Twp, we will call her Mrs. D.  Mrs. D called to tell us that she called Mr. Doty and told him to find something more productive to do with his time.  When she called his home a woman answered and asked 'why are you calling here' she told her that she wanted to tell Mr. Doty that he was wasting his time and to stop the nonsense.  About 30 minutes later her phone rang, Mr. Doty got on the phone and addressed the woman by her first name, which she promptly advised him that they did not know each other and he should not speak to her as if they were friends. Mr. Doty began to explain himself to Mrs. D. at which point she advised him that he would never change her mind and that she was sure he was wasting his time and hurting the town. She than hung up on him.

In short, Mr. Doty has made it clear by his actions that he has no true concern for Rockaway Twp or he would have contact his elected officials prior to sending a mass mailing.  Further even a sweet little sr. citizen can see straight through his nonsense.

Also the ordinance committee has stated that they are reviewing items after they were advised by 3 planners (the towns, Voices of Rockaway Twp. and Christ Church) that our current ordinances were lacking in regards to dealing with large institutions. Therefor it is well advised to review this item as failure to would be negligent.

One last item.  It appears that Christ Church was spending cash again tonight as one of Wendy Bergers little minions was sitting in the back row of the meeting keeping a close eye on the evenings events.  (And making sure he ran up behind a reporter who was questioning a council member about the ordinance issues).

In other news, are you listening PR guy.  I honestly heard of a building going up for sale in Parsippany directly of of exit 42.  It is 22 acres and has a current stucture of 125,000 sq ft the price is around 12 million.  It has tons of parking and is in a very pretty spot.  It really seems like a good fit and you and it is 10-15 minutes closer to Montclair on roads that better fit your needs, not on wetlands, not in a residential area, and may not require such expensive demolition and reconstruction.  This sounds like a win win win to me.  Check it out! If you want more information feel free to contact me 973-727-2450.

Good night Rockaway Twp!

Lisa...it's very good of you to offer this info up to Mr. Ireland...see by doing this, you prove that this space is available with less legal redtape, and a judge could say to him "Mr. Ireland, why would any reasonable person not at least explore this option, that seems to have so many less problems with it, and was less expensive ??? Perhaps you are just looking to make a little trouble, Hmmmm????"

Go check it out Whiney twins...and get back to us, OK??? You both know that judges do think this way, and you will get laughed at.

Folks,

He would never be interested in that property because it is only about 20 acres.  He needs at least 100 acres to accomodate his own personal dream to have a building about the size of Saint Peters Basilica.
