of whats important here and its not whether its Craig or Daniel or what his opinion is. Personally I have no reason to doubt that its Daniel. Craig was never shy about identifying himself to anyone, certainly not us. I appreciate Daniel's and Craig's opinions and don't disagree that condemning the property is an option. However, I would think (and would bet the town thinks so also) that it would be better used as a last resort. It would certainly land RT in court immediately, and supporting a valid reason to take the property, especially one that would stand up in court, isn't as easy at it may sound. But in any event, the decision isn't mine, or your's, or VORT's or Daniel's to make. Yes we can hold an opinion and talk up a particular approach or point of view, but beyond that, it's the elected officials decision to do what, in their minds, is best to do, when it is best to do it. I do fault Daniel for repeatedly bashing the posters here for not following his approach. It's certainly not in my power to condemn the property. We can only apply what little pressure we can on officials and point out what we see as problems, discrepancies, and ideas in whatever public forum is available. Beyond that we are really powerless. Its not a easy thing to accept, but face it, its true. So lets temper the rhetoric between ourselves, especially when we all basically agree that CC is not a good thing to have in RT.
I do not disagree with anything that you say. We all have our own perspectives on this situation, and that is the way that it should be. It is useful to share them with one another, nonetheless, because our politicians surely are monitoring our thinking process as expressed on this venue; the sharing of ideas increases our probability of striking a chord with the politicians who must ultimately make the decision(s) about the cc matter, before we ultimately make our decision(s) about their political longevity.
