Well it has happened. Several months ago CBS evening news taped a piece with me about RLUIPA. I recieved a call at 5:15 tonight saying it was going to air at 6:30 tonight - I had it video taped as I was not going to be home.
The piece featured 2 cases on in CA and ours. Ireland called us NIMBY's and stated that God was working through government officials. Marci Hamilton said the law is unconstitutional and creates 2 classes of land owners. I explained the size of the project in as much detail as I could.

This matter is surely about to get very interesting again very soon.

The Christ Church Plan for the redevelopment of 140 Green Pond Rd is just too big for the area.

If you watch carefully at the end of the video, there is a scene of the church....You can see Russ standing there, mullet , tired black sport jacket and all.
Not that it really shrinks the size, scope and burden of this monstrosity, but I thought he said he didn't belong to the church...what are the chances of a film crew, and him being there on the very same day???
There seemed to be a lot of empty seats in the CC service. Are the sheep fleeing the flock. Do they see Ireland and his administration as the money sucking fakes that they are. It's not about moving to a larger facility to support the existing congregation. It's about starting a new business, with new ($$$and more$$$) sheep.
