I took the liberty to call a few PR firms today. I found a relatively local one which is completely familiar with the Christ Church situation. I asked him if it would be possible to "cancel out" Irelands PR machine. I was very specific in mentioning that we would want to take over the keys at NJ.con and to have the newspapers spin articles in RT's favor. I was told by the VP on one of these PR outfits that it can be done. He said that he is completely aware of the CC situation and their PR firm. He says that we just need to raise the right amount of money and feed it to the correct people (in other words bribe) the newspapers and those in control of NJ.com. That is exactly what this mans firm does and he knows how to do it. He said that it will take a bunch of money to do it, but it can be done.
So, I propose that we start a new organization in town to raise money for this endeavour. Call it something like the RT Positive Image Committee (make it an Inc.). We take donations and feed these to the PR firm (just like Ireland is doing) and tell the PR firm that we expect results.
Otherwise, I suggest that we just shut up and stop b-i-tching about NJ.com and the biased press. Ireland is getting what he rightfully paid for. He is paying and we are not, so what do we really expect to get? We are getting exactly what we have paid for and that is NOTHING.
Lets consider my plan. Anyone interested or should we keep complaining about how unfair the world is?
I also took the liberty of getting in touch with the Investigators at ABC and gave them some of the story. Who knows what will happen.
I just wonder if CC hiring a PR firm to harrass RT is really very Christian. And also, if this is really true, do the members know what they are tilthing for? If it's a simple case of buying 140 GPR why does CC need the PR? They have Becket and RLUIPA on their side. Hopefully we have Ms. Hamilton. Still and all, there's more to this than meets the eye.

What makes you think that CC and Ireland are Christian? 14 years ago, he was an avowed aethist. My impression is that the religion he has invented down there in Montclair is the worship of the almighty dollar and the plundering of the poor. If you invent your own religion, you establish your own rules too. It has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity.
