A "Good Person" should simply ignore the implications of the effect on property values of Christ Church thereon. A "Good Person" should not be concerned with the effect of the financial IMPACT that CC will have had upon them, no matter what their own personal religion. A "Good Person" should only be concerned with the best interests that David Ireland has intended for us here in RT and his declared "Good Person" intentions - - - after all, he is David Ireland and needs to be infinitely trusted. It makes no difference if we have spent a lifetime to have accumulated our financial "nesteggs" and simply have it go down the tubes to a Saint named David Ireland. (Most of us have our major investment in our home/real estate, and one would have to be totally foolish to think that this thing is not going to effect it dramatically.)
We should simply trust that David's interpretation of the "Best Interest" of the public at large is best served by "The BEST for All" as defined by David Ireland himself and not our own community.
As I have said before, maybe this township will ultimately become named "New Ireland." If that occurs, it will only be due to the lack of aggressive concern by the good citizens of this township.
Until our people wise up and get aggressive about their futures, that is the ultimate outcome. RT will, instead of being remembered as a key contributor to the Revolutionary War effort, will go down in the history books as another Evangelical Circus town like Jim and Tammy Faye Baker's amusement park.
