Below you will see my email to CC. On top you will see the response from one of the Pastors at CC. I had written back explaining that I am not a party to any litigation and would feel they should respond - as of this moment there has been no further emails. Lisa ************************************
Ms. Salberg;
As you are aware, our Church has a pending application before the Planning Board along with an unresolved lawsuit. Therefore, our Church and its representatives have never and will not post statements on any websites or entertain dialogue in an electronic manner with anyone. We will not entertain any of your questions or respond to any further emails beyond this one. If you have a question, statement, or a concern, please use the legal channels set forth by the Rockaway Planning Board or have your attorney contact our attorney. Thank you.
Regards,
Rev. Ron Gonzalez

Dear Pastoral staff of Christ Church,
For 3 years now the residents of Rockaway Twp have endored the actions of those claiming to represent you and your plans to relocate to Rockaway Twp. As you are all well aware my husband and myself are of the opinion that your building plan is too large and adds to the intensity of use of the 140 Green Pond Rd property in a manner that is not in line with our master plan nor the Highlands Act. We have participated in the public meeting process as have hundereds of our neighbors. We have been clear about the reasons for our concerns and have sent email communications to you directly from time to time with no responce at all.
Today, Sunday June 25, 2006 the following post appeared on NJ.com. I have stated time after time that our concerns are with the scope and magnatude of your project - concerns that have not changed in 3 years. I was met with this attack today in your name, the name of Christ Church. As a point of fact I do not personally post on NJ.com - I do however read it daily.
My questions to you at this time are simple and I would appreciate your responce, failure to recieve a responce will let us know that you support this person and his opinions. 1. Do you believe that all residents of Rockaway Twp, myself included have opposed your re-development plan soley based on the color of your skin and how you pray? 2. Do you feel that neighbors should treat each other with anger and hostility and resort to name calling and childish behavior in the face of a disagreement? 3. Will you publicly denounce the actions of those who attack residents of the town you hope to call home? 4. Do you acknowledge the fact that residents have a right to voice there concerns over the re-development of this property much in the same way you have a right to practice your religion?

Grow up Lisa/Bill by bigotpatrol, 6/25/06 10:27 ET Re: Pro CC group admits to their faults online by MrBill, 6/25/06 and face the fact that everyone in RT, including the planning board, knows your groups' objection to CC is not based on the master plan, the environment, traffic, etc. Everyone knows you people don't want a predoninately BLACK, CHRISTIAN CHURCH in RT. Relax and call the movers...CC will get its approvals.
While we can agree to disagree at no time have I, nor any member of Voices of Rockaway Twp given any reason at all for these personal attack - these attacks are made in your name and a good neighbor would address these matters. As a point of reference this is at least the 4th email I have sent to Christ Church and to date have recieved no responses at all.
Sincerely, Lisa Salberg

The Christ Church Plan for the redevelopment of 140 Green Pond Rd is just too big for the area.
That response was obviously written by Wendy Berger. Shows what they are all about, handling this just like any other large business. Once again demonstrating they are not concerned about being good neighbors. Can't wait to see thier reaction when the planning board sends them packing.
Hey CC. August tax payment is near. Better send an extra collection basket around at next Sunday's show.
"Maybe if a newspaper reporter stepped up to the plate and asked the same questions they might get a response."

I am sure that the newspapers are paid by cc's PR agency to NOT ask that kind of question.-- Edited by Rational at 19:26, 2006-07-10
No offsense, but that is the biggest crock of bull I have ever heard. If you really believe that one, I have a bridge in Brooklyn that I'll sell you cheap

On the second reading of this, it sounds like they are more worried about putting anything in writing that may be used against them later on down the road. Maybe their paid mouthpeace should heed those very words as well.
Last night Wendy Berger claimed that nobody from Christ Church had ever issued threats or attempted to intimidate anyone in Rockaway Twp. or Voices of Rockaway Twp. Mr. Jones was the one who issued a prayer "against the enemies of God". Further the website he runs is filled with hateful lies in the name of this applicant and against anyone in town who opposed this application. At no time has Christ Church distanced themselves from this individual. He is quoted in the newspaper as being a spokesperson for CC, he attended a meeting at the Marcella Community Center claiming to be a spokesperson for the them and he even showed up at the private meeting held in Sept. 2003 between The Jenkins, Mr. & Mrs. Ireland, my husband and I.

I think he's doing a good job in his profession as a motivational speaker......after hearing some of his drivil, he's got me a bit more motivated!
By the way, If I am supposed to try and judge the e-mail(s) as you suggest, can I at least know what translation they might be written in? Was it "The King James" version, the "Jacoby and Meyers" version, or perhaps the "Dewey, Cheatum and Howe" version?
