name calling - again

I read NJ.com a little while ago.  This posting was very entertaining, to say the least.  I really love the attack stance taken by this poster.  This is the same poster that claims everyone is OK with the plans Christ Church has submitted.   I am guessing that they are suggesting that I have said "every" person in Rockaway is not in favor of the application.  The fact of the matter is that I know of about 4 -5 people in town that are in favor of the appliation - I am also aware of several thousand that are not in favor of the application.  At no time have I or any member of Voices of Rockaway Twp stated that "everyone" is opposed to the application.  We know that the overwhelming majority of residents are against it, but not ALL.

The need for name calling and the need to mention my name personally is childish and uncalled for.  My involvement is that of a concerned citizen and one who will not be bullied.

In a recent letter to the editor 1 of the few residents in favor of the application made statements about me that were false (regarding statements made here on this board). In the same letter he mentions his personal history of violent activity, 50+funerals, stabings, drugs and other forms of illeagal activity.  Some have suggested to me that this was an attempt to intimidate/bully me by ways of his "strength" and "history". I do not cave in to bullies regardless of how tough they think they are.  The truth is on the side of Rockaway Twp and the residents who seek to protect it.

To whom ever posted this hateful message allow me to tell you that I do not waste my time all day with message boards and emails - in fact today I found out that a person I have helped via the organization I founded 9 years ago was saved when his ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) went off and saved his life.  The only way he found out about this life saving treatment was via my organization and now this 37 year old man will see his children grow up.  I had a great day knowing my efforts helped to save a life.  I hope you find something rewarding to do in your life, but I doubt you will.

Later!

Re: Town supports new church by rockaway29, 6/24/04

Just exactly how would you know that no one in Rockaway wants the church to come to town. Did you survey every man, woman and child in town and asked that question? If not, you are guilty of making false statements. But that should not surprise anyone since your fearless leader, Lisa Salberg, is a pathological liar. Oh, be sure to quickly copy this message so you can show it to the other LOSERS who have nothing to do all day but send e-mails to the oppostion's hate board.
