Well, while Rob didn't exactly put our statements in the context they were stated (which I understand is a pretty common thing), the article on Ted is surprisingly frank.
One discrepancy that I don't think Rob understood was that, because of Ted's downright obnoxious behavior (and of course the non-visual nature of the internet) Ted brought Scott to the boiling point where he spoke to him as a non-disabled person.
Ted then took his disability and wore it like a banner.
It's an interesting concept: Bring your opposer to a point where he's so angry he lashes out at you...then bring up your disability to make the other person look like a bad guy.
Well, my husband's not a bad guy; but he's not afraid to confront anyone, including an obnoxious, confrontational dickhead who HAPPENS to sit in a wheelchair.
Scott never "wished Ted a slow painful death from his multiple sclerosis". He said it like anyone would say it to anyone else, it's a passing insult, and should have been treated that way.
Just like Craig's post, it was a from-the-hip statement that should have stayed in that context and not been overdramatized.
Anyone who has experienced a bout with Ted, or "Matthew" for that matter, knows how talented they are in bringing out the worst in people.
A valuable skill, I suppose, for Christ Church supporters.
But really, imagine, how much good could Ted (and "Matthew" for that matter) do if his energies were focused on a positive goal?
"Ted Doty's friends and adversaries agree on one thing..."
LOL interesting, did they talk to all one of his friends?
"He's not particularly concerned with the individual sensitivities. He puts himself in the position of taking a very critical look at what goes on in the township," Press said.
This is the best support Ted's only friend can offer? Great friend!
"...losing to John Inglesino in a campaign marked by the challenger's admission to having once written newspaper letters critical of Inglesino under a false name.
Five years later, Inglesino still was not amused by the letter-writing tactic, which Doty whimsically defended by noting that the author of "Tom Sawyer" used a pseudonym...."
Reminds me of the time Ted, under a false name on this board, stated that Craig Meier had actually been FIRED from Agilent. That post prompted a potential lawsuit at which point we looked at the IP address (yes, the BIG IP ADDRESS incident!) and confirmed it was the same as the posts he'd signed as Ted Doty.
Ted gets caught at being dishonest, and then responds whimsically.
"...While not embracing all of Doty's public comments, Christ Church spokesman Marc Weinstein lauded his willingness to stand up to "a small group of individuals" who have verbally attacked Doty and the church..."
Doty, among the few in the township to publicly embrace Montclair-based Christ Church's proposed 3,000-seat sanctuary and private K-5 school on Green Pond Road, isn't shy about dishing it out as well.
Even Jennings agrees that there are few in the township who support cc - make sure to use Jenning's quote when the cc shills start with their 'most in town' don't care or 'most in town' want a church...

Oh tED - how nice to see that your pattern of posting under different names (didn't you deny it when you first did it here) has a long history:
Doty ran for mayor as a Democrat in 1999, losing to John Inglesino in a campaign marked by the challenger's admission to having once written newspaper letters critical of Inglesino under a false name.
...is this the same tED who likes to complain about other people being charged with forgery??? LOL!!!

Ted only posted under a different name when he was slandering Craig, saying that he was actually fired from Agilent when actually I believe Craig received awards for his work there.
I like how the Record called me Scott's "husband" lol!
And how about that baby-soft picture of Ted! Did they send him to Glamour Shots for that one?

Oh no...Your 'secret' is now out of the bag. How'd the daily record ever find out about your 'relationship' with Scott?!?!?
I guess Jennings uncovered more than he expected too, LOL!!!!
