Thank you for discussing the Ted Doty story with me yesterday. The story, which is a profile of Doty and his public career in the township, will include your statement that your husband did not mean what he wrote on the Internet regarding Doty's health. I guess the only thing I might ask is why he wrote what he did, and for more of an elaboration as to why he feels Doty is acting unfairly. Rob, It's fine with me that you quote me as saying, "Of course neither of us would ever wish that on anyone" but please include the other part of the statement which was something like:

"...but Ted loves conflict and constantly pushes people past their limits with his words. He knows that, because of his disability, there will be no repercussions; no consequences to the obnoxious things he says. And he won't stop until the other person is pushed over the top."

Just stating that I said Scott "didn't mean it", doesn't really tell the whole story because Scott's really a nice guy with an incredible amount of patience--and Ted is an instigator who will stop at nothing to make others lose their tempers.

We're a little busy this weekend because a close friend is getting married in 2 hours and Scott's working tomorrow, but he's going to try to get back to you with a reply to your email.

Mr. Jennings - Mr. Doty thinks he is above any rebuttal because he has a disability. As far as I’m concerned, Doty has no love for anything; he only lives to be an opposition. The only side he chooses is the one opposing the majority. I believe he has no opinion on any issue. I feel bad for him, but his only goal is to rock the boat. Doty thinks he can say what ever he wants; I will not sit idly by while he makes mean statements about my wife, my town and me. He hides behind his "disability" to protect him from the wrath he incites. If the majority of the town wanted the church, Doty would be on the anti-church side. That is not the case.

Wow - just checked in at nj.con again. It's amazing how bad it's getting there...I guess all of Rockaway is now painted as a bunch of racist, anti-Catholic church haters...and we're all filled with hate, LOL...

Karen - youi've got tough decisions to make - I do believe that the nj.con activity quieted because of this forum - which was the only place for civilized conversation. Unfortunately, when the level of conversation here degraded - and you said you'd take the board down, the shills returned to their personal attack mode.

It's so sad to think that the people spilling these lies 'claim' they support a church.

I've just had two posts deleted, my screen name disabled and now my IP is banned.

My statement for the same two posts was the same:

"It's great the Gov. is taking good care of North Jersey!"

Deleted both times, now banned from posting.

What a shame--a newbie who didn't know about the "rule" - you can't ask why posts are being deleted because they'll be deleted too.

Why are messages deleted from this board by people who oppose CC coming to RT when they bring up facts against CC?Another reason why RT doesn't want CC-they have power and money and if they get into RT you can just imagine what they will do. Especially since they stoop to these tactics now.

"Free Use of Athletic Fields and a Gym"

I've gone through this board back almost two days.

And aside from Ted Doty's lies and cheating to win a Mayoral election, the biggest news is the "free use of the fields and gym". Wow!

Wow, does anyone remember the schedule we were offered? It was about 6 four-hour periods per month. Alternating fridays and saturdays or something like that.

Unless of course there were a wedding or funeral taking place, in which case everything must be cancelled that day.

Forget the use of the athletic fields because they will now have to be the paved over area for the parking lot given the new environmental restrictions. That is how Christ Church will approach this new problem most likely.

Well, after responding to TEd/Todd/Russ/PR Guy's posts on nj.con with the truth about his lies and the fact that one person is controlling all those statements under different names, I got tossed out.

Not only did all my posts (RTbjr) get deleted, but I was banned from sending any new postes as well. I now remember why I stopped going to that forum. I will make sure I don't get sucked in again.

I guess some people have a problem accepting the real "Truth"
