I understand what you're saying, but the problem is our objective was to allow people to express what they really think about the project, without being censored like on nj.com.
The objective was that this board would show both sides as they spoke frankly.
It has become a zoo, admittedly.
But, at the same time, there would be a seriously limited "frankness" if people had to use "real" info to sign up.
Even on nj.com, "real" info isn't required. It just sort of defeats the original purpose.
Which was to speak freely, obnoxious or not (yeah, me too).
But it's become quite a hassle and I just don't know that we want to deal with it anymore.
