I am so tired of the ranting and raving on this board. We should not be opposing one single person who we have acknowledged as gone over the deep end. Why should we be drowning with him? Do we have an advantage with the Highland's law? Yes or no?
Do we have any rights as RT residents to stop this megachurch from robbing us of our town as we know it? Yes or no?
Do we as RT residents have a say in what's happening in our town or do we spend our energy on one town idiot?
Grow up. We are fighting the fight of our lives as far as RT, our homes, and what we consider to be the reasons why we are here.
We are not fighting the Ted's nor the Russ's nor anyone in particuliar. We are fighting the take over of our town by those that don't live in our town. Those who will cause damage to our way of living by ruining our infrastructure, our roads, our emergency services because they are TOO BIG for the area where they want to reside.
KEEP FOCUS! YOU ARE ACTING LIKE A BUNCH OF BUMBLING IDIOTS THAT ARE ON THE SAME WAVE LENGTH AS THOSE YOU TRY TO PUT DOWN.
It's not a person or people we are against. It's not religion or race we are against. WHAT WE ARE AGAINST IS AN UNFAIR LAW THAT WILL GIVE OUTSIDERS PRECEDENTS TO THOSE THAT LIVE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
GET REAL AND FIGHT THE FIGHT THAT NEEDS TO BE FOUGHT. DON'T WASTE ENERGY ON THOSE WHO SHOULD SIMPLY BE IGNORED THEN YOU ARE LOWERING YOURSELF TO BE THEM. WE NEED REAL, INTELLIGENT INDIVIDUALS TO FIGHT THIS FIGHT, AND RT MUST SUCCEED IN THIS BATTLE OR LOSE WHAT THEY HAVE WORKED SO HARD FOR!
I MOVED HERE FOR A REASON AND I WILL FIGHT TO KEEP THAT REASON ALIVE!
I will agree with you that Ted has gotten out of hand, however I can not standby and allow someone to lie about me or an organization I am part of.
The title of this board is "RT Free Speech" however Oliver Wendell Holmes said it best ... You can not yell FIRE in a crowded theater...
I do think this board needs some "Rules" and those who can not follow them should leave.
Hey Karen... I think this board has matured and would benefit from some basic "rules". As a start up you would assume that adults will act like adults, when that fails, "rules' are needed. Just my 2 cents.
That is not what was said... it says post rules and those who can not act like adults and follow simple rules should be banned.
We KNOW that you will have to cross the line if rules are posted and thereby will get banned and is that not what you seek...something more to be angry about? You should love the idea!

Re the board if you follow the rules and maintains an environment that is not detrimental you can stay and play...

There's that reading comprehension problem again. It's like this. The church followed the rules, Dimin tried to change them mid-stream and now council is considering amending them as a last ditch effort.
Believe me folks, if it was that simple they'd have done it moth's ago.
