Lisa, you sound depressed.  It’s probably because your opposition strategy failed.  Who can blame you?  After all, your spirits must have sunk after the town planner obliterated that idiotic "is a mega church a church" argument.  And while you and your fellow voRTies were still licking your wounds, the school board's costly attempt to acquire the Agilent property through eminent domain went down in flames.  That must have been a crushing blow since you, your husband and the Jenkins unsuccessfully tried to hijack the facilities committee.

Thankfully, the board had the good sense to banish misfits like you and the other three.  Lisa, please put away the Prozac and deal with your loss in a responsible manner. I suggest you read Dr. Ireland's book "Failure is not Written in Pencil" to help you overcome your current depressed state of mind. The book will also give you something to talk about with the pastor when he and his congregation move to the community

PSYCHOSIS

Psychotic disorders include severe mental disorders which are characterized by extreme impairment of a person's ability to think clearly, respond emotionally, communicate effectively, understand reality, and behave appropriately. Psychotic symptoms can be seen in Ted Doty with a number of serious mental illnesses, such as depression, bi-polar disorder (manic-depression), schizophrenia, and with some forms of drug and alcohol abuse. Psychotic symptoms interfere with a person’s daily functioning and can be quite debilitating. Psychotic symptoms include delusions and hallucinations.

Delusion: A false, fixed, odd, or unusual belief firmly held by the patient. The belief is not ordinarily accepted by other members of the person’s culture or subculture. There are delusions of paranoia (others are plotting against them), grandiose delusions (exaggerated ideas of one's importance or identity), and somatic delusions (a healthy person believing that he/she has a terminal illness).

All though he needs mega doses of thorazine, please do not treat him yet. I am but one chapter away from completion and a free ride to grad school. Thank you for your consideration. I will post as soon as I am done and you can then commence the intervention.

Many months ago I said I would not respond to Ted’s posts, however I will in this case.

Mr. Doty, you could not be further from the truth; however this is nothing new for you.  I have had an amazingly successful several months in more ways than 1.  Your comments about depression must be an attempt to deflect your own feelings onto others.

While I do take medication regularly it is all for my heart, not my head.  However your comments about Prozac are heartless and shallow as mental illness is a serious condition many face and must deal with.  Do you find it enjoyable to mock the disabilities of others Ted?

Your continual lies about the BOE committee well... More lies... it was our choice not participate on the committee as we all had many other obligations.  Do you honestly believe that 4 of us could change the outcome of an entire committee? The committee made its observations and gave them to the BOE.  Their job is done.

While you may not have fully understood the argument our attorney made regarding the size of a church and definitions in the realm of land use, which is your problem.  It is clear that the zoning regs in Rockaway Twp need revision, ones we have been asking for since September, now the town attorney agrees with us and changes are on the way. I would call that a win, as what we have sought is being addressed.

I find no need to read Mr. Irelands book; I have many other sources of information and education.  You however must really enjoy the book, as you have had to read it so many times.

At one time I attempted to reach out and talk to you in an attempt to have an adult discussion; however you would not pick up the phone and noted on a message board that you did not wish to speak to me.  You have spent an amazing amount of time talking about me, yet you have no idea who I am, you are a very insecure person and one who is not interested in anything but fighting.

I do offer you my pity and do hope you find some happiness soon.

Sincerely,

Lisa

Ted,

In YOUR world, you're right--Failure is NOT written in pencil.

You are a whack job.

Nuts.

Insane.

And WHAT a dick!

Hey Ted.  After posting all of these venomous posts do you as a Catholic go to confession before taking communion?  I sure hope so.  I don't believe reading Ireland's book will give you absolution.

If his book is anything like his public speaking, "Failure is written in pencil" is probably written in crayon.

In your post, you mentioned that "changes are on the way."  Are you suggesting the council ordinance committee is currently drafting an amendment to the town's zoning ordinance?  Do you know this for a fact?

If so, how did you come by this information? I have not seen this information reported in the local media.

I believe it was brought up at the last town council meeting a week or tow ago.  I know there was a mention of zoning - so they are most likely working on revisions.

You may wish to attend town council meetings, it was discussed 2 meetings ago.

Mr. Jennings was in the room and I do believe he wrote about it.

Yes it was but in code.  One coucilman said "are we going to talk about that other thing" ...or words to that effect.

Then the councilman was abruptly cut off.  Sounds like there's some backroom wheeling 'n dealing going on.  I wonder if there's a sunshine law violation in there somewhere?

Well seeing as I was in the room and you were not I can assure you that you are 100% wrong.

It was clearly stated that the committee will be reviewing the zoning.  Nothing cloak and dagger...simply stated for all to hear.  Yes they said they were going to address other issues as well, but nobody was cut off.  I am sure you can go get transcripts if you want.

Good night.

Thank you for your response to my question.  I am an avid reader of The Daily Record and I did not read any mention of council taking such an action.

It would be most helpful if you could clarify things for me.  Is council currently drafting an amendment to the zoning ordinance. I hope I don't come across sounding dense, but I'd like to be accurate if I tell my neighbors that councilmembers are indeed taking such action.

Mr. Doty says there was some conversation along these lines at the last meeting, but it sounded ambiguous at best.

Amazing! In code!?!?!?!

More conspiracies! Just amazing, you neurotic psychotic.

And I saw it in the Daily Record myself--you'll recall a post I started here the day before the council meeting, because IN THE DAILY RECORD they said that the revised ordinances might be presented at that meeting.

And I asked if anyone had attended...which no one had.

Lisa, you know that's how it happened.  Stop playing games.

Are they writing an amendment?  You'd know that better han me...You work for them.

I'm guessing however, that they're debating whether or not there are conflicts with federal law...hence the need for Hamilton

Thanks for the info. I must have missed the story. Hopefully, my spouse didn't use that section to line the birdcage.

tED - if that's what you think, please file a lawsuit.  We're all looking for another ruling on another tED lawsuit.  I believe you got fined for the last one you brought, is that not correct?

Ted paid for wasting the council's time. Like he should be paying all of us for wasting ours.

Again, this is some time of "game" to Ted.  No games Ted, this is real life. With a real environment hanging in the balance.

If you wish to know the status of events you may wish to call town hall, that is how I find things out.  Frankly I have been so busy over the past few weeks that I have not called them in 2 weeks so I am not sure where the situation sits.

Our Mayor is not 'my boss' he is simply the mayor and anyone seeking to speak to him has a right to do so.

Have a nice day Ted and please find something to be happy about today.

Lisa
