TRENTON, N.J. -- A plan to preserve hundreds of thousands of acres of land in the Highlands region was approved by a Senate environment committee Monday after weeks of political negotiations.
Building would be severely restricted in parts of seven counties in an effort to protect drinking water supplies under the proposal that will now be considered by the full Senate and Assembly. The bill had previously been approved by an Assembly committee.
1. The HIghlands bill contains language that is clear and specific.
2. A developer need not withdraw an application if it is not proper, they can always hope someone will miss something and let them in.
3.The application will go ahead via the proper chain of process and be stopped when it is appropriate.
4. Yes CC would be smart if they took it back NOW and stopped wasting the money of its members, however based on past actions this is NOT about the membership of CC it is what IRELAND WANTS and he will keep wasting $$$ to attempt to prove his point.
5. This is all going to come down to a much larger question, which comes first the environment or religion. A line must be drawn... will state law protecting the drinking water of millions take its appropriate place ahead of RLUIPA? That is the only question that needs to be answered.
Right, in order to conform, no building. 14 million and no cathedral? Come on the real opposition is the SIZE AND SCOPE of the project. Trix are for kids. How come you are not in school?

If conforming means no new structures or parking within the 300 foot buffer, then Ireland's dream is just that.... a dream.
Time to move on to plan B Mr. Ireland. Stop wasting you flock's money before they catch on to your scam.
I say we condem 140 GPR to protect our town well and the streams leading to split rock reservior, level the building, rip up the parking lot, give the land to the county and make a park with jogging paths, picnic tables, a Gazebo, and of course lacrosse fields.
Rockaway Renagades Lacrosse.....the fastest growing sport in town! Come out and watch a game, you'll be hooked!
