I believe it already was, although I didnt know about it beforehand either. There was a writeup in last weeks Neighbor News. It sounded like CC didnt have all its info again and wasnt prepared again (what a surprise).
Thanks for the information. These meetings are certainly not getting as much publicity as in the beginning of this affair. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I remember when emails would go out informing people of the date and large articles would appear in the newpapers. Now there are no emails, the VORT website hasn't been updated with the next meeting date and even someone as concerned as yourself about this project isn't sure when the meeting was. Nothing has been heard from the DEP in months. It sure makes one wonder what is going on.
Well I plead guilty to being responsible for some of that. I am the one that does the VORT site updates and sends out the reminder emails to the mailing list, but I never heard about the meeting beforehand myself so I never did the update or mailing. I usually get multiple emails and/or calls from several people with the info and a gently nudge to do the update, but I guess it fell through the cracks this month. I know I have been getting busier and busier with work and have less time to devote to other things myself. I think its a combo of that and boredom with the continued going-ons of this whole affair that is starting to get to everyone. I do agree that this is taking far too long for a DEP decision. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that that doesnt mean trouble for our side when the decision is made.
