Now that Agilent has been eliminated as a potential school site, more Rockaway Township residents will be taking a serious look at whether or not we need a new school. I think these statistics should be considered
In 1994 a Facilities Committee determined school capacity to be 2983. Since that time 19 classrooms were added and, at 20 students per class, an extra 380 students can be housed: giving us a total capacity of 3363 (2983+380).
The current five year projection is 3337. With a capacity of 3363 and a questionable projection of 3337, Why do we need a new school?
I have proof that is going to show that there have never really been "children" so to speak. These alleged "children" have been sapping our tax dollars under the guise of "education" into a money pit code named "school". Pardon if my spelling is off...this "school" thing is new to me.
As we all are well aware, people in apartments and condos don't have these alleged "children". Only home owners are left to deal with this trickery.
I ask you. If there are truly no such things as "children" why are we throwing our hard earned tax dollars at "educating" them? I smell a rat!
If you mock how our tax dollars are spent...aren't you really mocking Democracy itself? And if you are mocking Democracy...aren't you really mocking our very way of life?
Well, I'm not going to sit here and listen to you bad mouth the United States of America! Who's with me!

Emotional arguments are often used with regard to school funding. But, potentially we're talking about millions of dollars.
If you're talking about additions to DBO, state your case. You might find there is support out there. If you're asking for a new school, there is no evidence thay one is needed and I doubt you'll get support.
