Last night at the Rockaway Twp Council meeting it was announced that the town has every legal right to change zoning at anytime.
The ord. committee will be meeting to discuss what changes are needed to address "large institutions" and what areas are appropriate for such establishments.
IT IS ALL BY THE BOOKS... 110% LEGAL.
I would suspect that the land at 140 Green Pond Rd will not be found as an appropriate location for such an establishment - ENVIRONMENT, TRAFFIC and demands on infrastructure will be evaluated!!!!!!!!!
I'm sure they'll still sue us though, but that's inevitable, part of the process I guess.
Regardless of how many concessions RT allowed, it would never allow enough to make RT residents comfortable with their behemoth, so bring it on--sue, sue, sue away.
We're just waiting to be named into the future as the landmark case that killed RLUIPA. Bring on Marci--
