The last company that RT let onto 140 Green Pond Rd. devestated the environment by pouring toxic chemicals into the ground.
We know that all the fine folks living in the areas around Green Pond Rd. just HATE those who abuse the environment.
Those same folks are now praying that ANOTHER COMPANY will locate at that same site? In addition, those same fine folks have NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER with the current RAPING of all the virgin land along Green Pond Road?
Seems a bit odd, don't it?
Now, I am not a gambling man, but I'd be willing to bet that the chances of MORE CHEMICALS being dumped into the ground are slightly HIGHER if another company moves into 140 Green Pond Rd. than if A CHURCH moves in there.
Sure, the church members may spill a little Holy Oil now and again, but that won't be spit compared to the levels of toxic dumping that potentially come with any manufacturing or research operation that will go there.
So here's a suggestion for all you earth loving folks up yonder around Green Pond Rd: If you want to keep THE TOXIC CHEMICALS out of the soil, just change the zoning laws to limit the area to be developed by CHURCHES ONLY.

That's correct, it's the same company that vORT wants to keep in order to pay taxes and help fund the legal fees to stop a christian church.... yeah, you got it
Let's just say that when the damage was done to 140 GPR, the Feds/State were a little lax in enforcing DEP regs. Today, as can be witnessed by our Gov hikeing around Splickrock, a new day has dawned. Contractors will no longer fly under the wire - Big companys will be held accountable. To suggest the town approve a conditional use because a potentioal 25,000 member Mega-Church would not spill chemicals is ludicrious. Agilent will clean up - they have no choice - it does not have anything to do with the multiple reasons why the proposed re-development would do more harm than good for our town. Go back to your leader and plead with him to do the only thing left to do...cut his losses and find an appropriate site for this Mega-Complex.

Instead of lying, speak the truth. the polluters are responsible for the cleanup.

In the expert opinion of the school district's eminent domain atty, Agilent has to post bond for remediation. Nine million dollars is the figure presented to the BOE.

I'm not the one lying but I'm not trying to convice you. If it makes you feel good to think you tripped me up, take another sip of kool aid and feel better

This is another classic post. Let's see, environmental laws are going to be better enforced under our present federal government? That is truly hilarious!!! Which ones? The Clear Skies Act that allows more pollutants by big companies? The Healthy Forest Intiative that allows more logging by big corporations? Or the increased oil drilling in environmentally sensitive areas of our country? You make me actually laugh out loud.
Explain why the NJ contractors are up in arms then (if you can pick yourself up off the floor)>
They may drill in Alaska, but NJ will be the 600 pound gorilla on NJ environmental issues. Are you even from NJ?? We are regulated out the @ss already, the new laws make development WAY harder a-hole. LOL.

Oh yeah, I forgot, you are right! NJ has such an incredible budget surplus that they'll be all over the big companies that provide NJ jobs to comply with environmental laws. I am sure I heard that somewhere - how NJ is going to increase its environmental law enforcement spending. Wait.. what's that? They didn't say that? You're kidding!

Yep, just about over. It'll 2 or 3 years to clean up the place, that will give just enough time for the case to make it's way through the courts. And then RT will end up footing the bill for all of CC's legal fees (plus expenses).
And they might get here just in time to rescue you from that crack addiction. Just do us a favor and stay off the roads in the meantime.
Russell Jones, your neighbors hate you, after the church is denied and moves on your neighbors will still hate you, maybe you should follow them to their new destination. Your poor mal-adjusted son will grow up to be a mal-adjusted adult and will still have no friends. Charity begins at home, work on your own family before you try to make a profit from poor inner-city children. You disgust me.

Folks,
Mr. Jones has written a few letters to the editors. His words are also on the Truth website. No offense to Mr. Jones, but his writing style is nowhere near mine.
Also, Mr. Jones has signed his name to all the pieces that he's written. Why would he bother going "anonymous" here?
And I have stated MANY times that I'm not Jones.
Your "assumption" makes no sense.
But then again, much of the reasoning by Opposers on this board falls under that category.
But keep guessing, you might eventually get it right.

Was this really posted by Scott Stark, the Admin of this board?
There is no indication that Jones is on this board, yet you feel justified in making a personal attack against him AND his son?
What is the point of a post like this?
Do other church opposers here feel that attacks like this have any place in a public forum such as this?
Interesting idea. Everyone has the right to their own opinion so long as its expression does not slander the other individual. Did Mr. Starks statement slander anyone, or is what he stated true? I personally have no idea if it is true. I have never met Russ. If it is true, so be it. It is all fair game.

With the level of HATE that Mr. Stark is expressing, is it any wonder that you'd be right there to support him Craig.
And make no mistake about, there is ALOT of HATE in Rockaway Township.
