Answers for Jay R

Jay.

You claimed you answered my questions individually, but you didn't answer them "Yes or No".  You just pasted the same explanantion after each one.  Is this any different than me giving you one explanation that applies to all of your questions?

So I will try one more time to answer your question of what, in my view, the Bible (OT & NT) says about how one spends eternity with God.

God is perfect.  In order to be with God, you must be perfect, meaning you never did anything that was out of the Will of God.  One simple mistake will get you thrown out of God's House.  You might recall that this happened to a young couple in the first book of your Bible.

In all the time between then and now, nothing about that situation has changed.  You still must be perfect to be with God.  Even after our lives here have ended.

So all the people that you asked about, they will get to Heaven if they are perfect.

You must decide if your "hypothetical people" are perfect. If they are, then they will get into Heaven when they die.

Matthew

So all one needs to do to become "perfect" is to accept Jesus??

Matthew - You did not ask Yes or No questions.  You asked questions that were basically the same - changed the flavor...my answers to them were truthful AND the same.  Do you need to list every possible offense that man can make and expect them to have different answers in regard to how they are viewed by G-d?

Is this any different than me giving you one explanation that applies to all of your questions?

You were asked YES or NO questions.  You refused to answer.  Your refusal to answer is a very loud statement in and of intself.  Your statement (or lack thereof) was on this board for all to (not) see.

That's a very long winded answer for my yes or no questions (which still have not been answered).  Are you saying that no man is perfect - so sin all you want, but believe in Jesus and you'll become perfect?  I don't understand this philosophy.  Where is the incentive for man to be good if all one has to do is believe in Jesus?  What about those who do not believe in Jesus, but do lead good lives?  What about those who lived before the time of Jesus?  Are you saying no one before Jesus could make it to heaven?  I don't understand your logic!

Again - i asked you a bunch of questions - I would like to see concise answers to them. Your silence to the direct YES OR NO questions speaks volumes...

If you want to continue the conversation - please go back and give answers to the SIMPLE questions...And we can continue from there.

Jay,

My questions to you were absolutely "yes or no".  They can be boiled down to one "Yes or No" question that you still haven't answered:

In your view, does one get into Heaven by following the rules of one's chosen religion (Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, etc)?

Remember, YES or NO.

Thanks,

Matthew
