This community continues to impress me! There was a knock at my door a few minutes ago, it was an older gentleman I have seen for many years at church. He asked if I would concider signing a letter to the members of Chirst Church and the Pastor of Christ Church. Upon review of the letter it was a request for Christ Church to concider the "Graystone" location as an alternate to 140 Green Pond Rd. as the location in Rockaway Twp has so many concerns and it would adversely impact the community. It was a very good letter. If you may recall our freeholders have been seeking a new tenant for that location and it currently does not pay taxes, therefore it will not cause a loss of revenue for the community, further it is very close to Rts. 10, 287, 80, 202 and not far from 46. The location is closer to Montclair and is a very pretty property. There are many buildings that can be renovated and it already has a "campus" feel.
While I do not know the details on the property it appears to be a truely realistic option.
I will be getting a copy of the letter and post it to the web this week.
I know it is for sale, I know they are seeking someone ASAP, I know it is very large (I would guess over 50 acres), I know there are many buildings. Beyond that I do not have any details about the space.

Thank you for the initial comment. As for what appears to be arrogance, I dislike opinionated people so much that I go out of my way to give them something to be opinionated about. Clearly, it's a fault.

In other words, you don't care what the facts are, you don't care what is right and what is wrong, you only care about 'giving them something to be opnionated about' .

No. those are you words. I've used logic and fact to point out the hypocrisy of vort arguments. I just find it fun to do and the reactions entertaining.
Almost always the opinionated person (Lisa for example) or group( (vORT for example) resort to nonsensical personal attacks. They fall apart because someone doesn't see the world the way they do.
In this case, the opinionated folkhave fallen back on the argument that none of us would accept from our kids: "But EVERYONE ELSE is". vORT and its supporters present the argument that EVERYONE ELSE is against the church. I'll resond by saying: If all the lemmings follow the Pied Piper off the cliff are the right?
