Sorry kayakers and hikers, I'm so happy they've closed the public parking lot.
The whole area has been made a mess of due to the publicity, and people making Split Rock a "destination".
Folks can claim "it's the kids hanging out!" that make the mess.
But I remember BEFORE all this silliness about making it public and while there was some litter here and there, it wasn't everywhere, every day. And I didn't have to battle with a million morons backing in to launch their damn boats.
