if mR iNstigator is correct then this is great news - time to end the b.s. game of footsie the rEv has put us through the last few years. We all knew this was the intention from the start, and I for one want to put this horsesh*t behind us for good.
I also hope this will force the planning board to end the waste of time meetings on the ever changing plans for 140 GPR - we could all use that time for more constructive things!
My personal opinion (NOTE - not intended as a professional or legal opinion or as a representation of anyone other then myself) is that they didnt originally intend to sue RT. Their original intent was to railroad over the bunch of country bumpkins who had poorly written ordinances, not intended to address an entity like theirs. Once they saw that wasnt going to happen, they played the race card, antireligious card, and the lawsuit threat. They waited the max time they could and still include a challenge to the ordinance in the suit. Then they filed the suit. Then they rode that threat for as long as they could in an attempt to pressure the town even further. They waited as long as they could without serving the papers, hoping the town would cave in. Now their cards are on the table and I sure hope that the PB treats them accordingly. What CC supporters dont seem to realize is that it isnt a bargaining session. You comply with the wants of the town and the PB or you are sent packing. Companies and retail establishments are put thru the same ringers on every project. Private citizens appearing before the PB have to have it right the first time or they are shown the door. The town has already bent over backwards for this project and needs to stop and show them the door. They have NO RIGHT to build in RT. They are afforded the opportunity to sell their case to the town and then either the privilege of building in RT or they are given a Thanks but no Thanks. CC has shown what they are really made of and its time for the town to say NO THANKS.
thats it in a nutshell Chuck. Time to end the "fools on parade" month in and month out - we have laws and rights as a town - I hope we follow through with the counter-suit when this thing is thrown out by the courts - this person needs a dose of reality. Hiding behind race and religion to line ones pockets is repugnant....
What, if anything did anyone say that makes you believe CC thinks RT residents are country bumpkins? And do you really think they sought a location with poorly written laws?
It appears to me that 5-10 was designed to block CC...but that's just my opinion...and the Daily Record's and the Star Ledger's and many others.

Thanks concern. I just ignore him. You can condition yourself so that its just like a mouse squeeking in the background. He's only a legend in his own mind. He's already on thin ice. It wont be long and Karen will have to ban him. He better hope I am never in a position to decide individual rights, cause I would have a surprise for him.

You also stated that Dr. Ireland pick RT for it's poorly written laws. How is that possible? Did he have an advance team of municiple law experts? If he did,why didn't the inform Ireland about the time of decision rule?
