My ONLY Question...

I don't give a flip about impervious coverage, parking space width, tower height etc. It looks like the planning board is well capable and more qualified then I am to deal with it.

Doesn't matter to me if it's a church. Doesn't matter to me if it's a temporary tent set up everydamnday and taken down again at night. I don't care if it's people who want to paint themselves purple plaid and pluck porcupines.

I care that this beast is going to be on a tiny *little* country-ish roadway.

What I would care about is if there were going to be 5000+ and other assorted numbers of purple plaid painted pluckers clogging up a smallish road (and for the most part one exit on Route 80) several times a week.

Gonna impact my family's freedom of religion when we can't get past all of it to get our more typical sized community church further down GPR, and no one supporting this nightmare seems to give a rip about that.

Of course GPR will be impacted. The ongoing traffic testimony shows that both CC and the PB are very concerned and are looking for ways to mitigate the problem.

Apparently you feel GPR should stay as it is now. Sadly, that's not going to happen. Regarding 140 GPR, if the church doesn't move there you have to realize the property is a precious piece of land with access to water and sewer service, two miles away from a massive retail center. You can't really believe it will be unchanged.

In short, the choice, I believe is CC or something else very big.

Heart raises an interesting point.  Many of you are struggling to maintain status quo.

What do you think will happen if the church is unsuccessful?

I don't think it's ever going to be as it was.  Not only do I think RT officials will go for the gold and turn the property into another retail center, new residents north of Meriden will soon demand services and nearby-shopping.
