I fail to see how my posts are worse than Karen (unprovoked I might add) refering to me as a "dickhead" or the rather sophmoric flames directed at me or Chuck'st foolish mis-spelling of my name ("Dooty"...pretty clever Chuckie, I've never heard that one. Make that up yourself?).
You started with "free speech", now it's "sorry no instigators". Perhaps the name should be changed again to the "All opinions are welcome but sorry no instigators allowed...unless you attack someone we don't like" Board.
Frustrating, isn't it, when someone else has control of a forum. Now you know how so many of us feel after having dozens of screen names and email addresses banned after a single post.
If you don't enjoy the interaction here and can't participate without playing dumb and putting words in others' mouths, then just stay at nj.com, your very own playground, where you are king of the hill.
So long as you realize that you are motivated by a need to be "King of the hill" and apparently not the merits of you opinions or the ability to inteligently discuss issues.
For the record, I have no control over NJ.com and have NEVER gotten anyone banned. If its any comfort to you, I too have had many posts deleted and screen names banned.
From experience with NJ.com over the past 10 years or so, much of the chatter over there is forum hosts & SL editors. NJ.com is a commercial venture and advertising rates are based on the number of "hits" they receive

Guess you must have stopped taking those new meds and have fallen back to the old hateful, arbitrary, argumentative, jerk you always were in the past. I never said I wanted to be king of the hill. I just want this forum to run smoothly.
I'm sure you know I was referring to your constant struggle to control who says what--to the point where you actually "parrot" things back to the rest of us that we never said to begin with (see above).
And it was going so well. We were actually having productive discussions and even debates. With you involved--as an active participant, and it was interesting and informative for some time there.
But it seems to be going nowhere now.
Many warned me to ban you before it got to this point. It's too bad you just can't keep it together.
