my friend lost her two dogs months ago...(they took off after a deer together) - she's been searching non-stop for them...she has received several phone calls of them being spotted by meridian...one lady even said she had them and was bringing them to a shelter...well they never showed and she never called back...i'm wondering if anyone that in that area has seen them...or if they have noticed a neighbor with a "new" dog/s...the girl dog looks like a dalmation with very faded spots and bright blue eyes...her name is roxie - the boy (rufus) looks like a black lab with white on his chest...they unfortunately did not have any tags on them when this happened (although they do have tags)...thanks...
I saw a lone dog running on the side of our street (Meriden Rd.) out of the corner of my eye from our bedroom window yesterday at about 2:00 PM. There were no people around with the dog. Unfortunately, the dog was running quite fast so I did not get a real good look other than to say that it was a Medium to Large sized dog (perhaps about 60 to 80 pounds). My viewing angle would have put the dog about 230 feet from my viewing perspective, so my weight estimate could be off and I only had a glimse but the dog turned up Moore Rd just across from our home.
I hope that this is of some help and I hope that the pooches are found and in good health! Very sad to loose a pet like that, indeed. We will keep our eyes open and try to get them the next time we see one or both.
thanks so much - it def. gives us hope that at least one (if not both) are ok...we aren't giving up the search...
they are extremely friendly dogs...and would come to you (and lick you to death)...
please give me a call if you see them again (if you would be so kind)...i'm gonna go back in the posts...i believe you had posted your email at one time (i'll email you my number)...much appreciated!!!
