that tED/rUSS have to come on this forum to fight because the "tRUTH" forum was a misrable failure?? How many posts does that forum enjoy a year?? LOL!!
And while we are on the subject - did anyone else notice the complete lack of support for cC at every meeting so far?? How many of these "pro cC" residents have you guys seen?? I count 2...fairly underwhelming.....
That's for sure. 2 RT people actively supporting the project. And one of them simply to be contrarian.
Obviously that's not a problem for the Rev though. I guess he feels once he's moved the megalopolis in we'll see the light and realize we were wrong.
Someone stated once or twice about the decrease in attendance at the meetings.
I continue to ask. Even at the lowest attendance rate of 100, how many Rockaway Township PB meetings have ever had that many attendees even once...not to mention for 17 meetings in a row?
And might I mention, these meetings are B-O-R-I-N-G. I suggest that people have stopped coming not because they've decided the project is a good idea. They're tired of sitting in uncomfortable chairs for hours on end on a Monday night listening to the particulars about the project.
Unfortunately, as humans, we may have a strong opinion about something, but we tend to expect that others are handling things and hopefully it'll turn out okay.
I've missed several meetings with everything that's going on in my life right now; but it doesn't mean I feel any less strongly about the project. I'm sure there's plenty more out there in the same position.
I admire your comittment to your cause and I can understand how one's life might prevent a 100% dedication to the matter at hand.
By the same token, I have to admire the dedication of CC supporters or Ireland himself for enduring the lenghty process and you must admit, a good deal of mudslinging
what supporters tED???? And, indeed the rEv deserves every bit of mud - hE has been less than forthcoming, contrite, has lied publicly about racisim in Rockaway, need I go on?? Please spare us the "poor little rEv" nonsense - he is a big boy, and hE has chosen to attempt to bully hIS way in - so be it, but he will have to face the music just like any other developer whom tried to lie, bamboozle, and bully a bad project on a town.
I refered to the same supporters that Karen did. And as karen pointed out, lifes complications sometimes prevent attendence at meetings. I happen to belive ther are more than two or three church supporters
