A simple question. How did cc know about this property still being owned by Mr. Chovanec? According to the paper the church was the one who sought Mr. Chovanec's disqualification. Do all members of the pb get scrutinized by applicants everytime someone goes before the pb?

cc tells us that they will have a positive impact on property values (all those new people moving in and raising our home prices) :)
Therefore, Mr. Chovanec, being the owner of a nearby rental property would stand to profit greatly with the approval of cc.
But yet, Whiney tells us that Mr. Chovanec being placed on the board was part of a "well-orchestrated campaign opposed to development of the church project".
How can this be Whiney? Mr. Chovanec's personal financial interests must clearly favor your client...unless of course we have been LIED TO and that cc will really have a NEGATIVE effect on our property values!

If cc is going through all this trouble to find some dirt out, no matter how small or non news, about RT to make the papers just proves that they are very afraid of losing and they are trying to get whatever they can against RT. Their lawsuit isn't worth the paper it's written on. Their front page stories aren't worth the ink. And they know this. VoRT and our officials have done a wonderful job in proving that cc is just too intense for the area. I'm confident that cc will lose and will go away, ending this nightmare for RT.
Statistically, most lawsuits are settled out of court. I suspect that the same will happen here. Want my wild-ass guess as to the amount of the settlement?

2). Ted Doty goes to the Municipal building (but crashes) to find out who owns property around 140 Greenpond Road. Finds Joe Chavonec subdivided the land and still retained ownership on a rental property.
3). Ted Doty calls CC and the DR to report information.
4). CC and PR firm get all information to Rob Jennings, DR to make a story (out of nothing)
5). TED DOTY gets PAID. (maybe they will buy him a new van)
