As per subject, I have been researching this potential since it first arose about 4 weeks ago. All of my contacts (about 4) have indicated that the Agilent / HP property located at 140 GPR is NOT on the market, ( but for the contract with CC). It looks like that was, unfortuatly, an incorrect rumour.
The way that I look at it is as follows since I worked there for 18 years. They are a California based corp. They are as politically correct as an org. can possibly be (after all, they put a female Medieval History Major {not even having an MBA much less an engineering degree} named Carlie Fiorni in charge of a company driven by Science and Engineering). She had almost no knowledge of anything technical yet attempted to run the place, which is driven by science and tough business practices; note that she killed the stock and it will probably never recover despiter her "firing".
Anyway, there is no way in hell that a multi-billion dollar company is not going to "EAT IT" financially when it comes to a situation wherein a Minority owned Church wants to purchase their tiny little RT property. It just does not bode well in the newspapers.
So, folks, get used to it. Christ Church and David Ireland is going to be part of our Lexicon for decades to come.
There seems to be a posting, at least for now, on NJ.com that refers to tours of 140 GPR being given to interested potential buyers. Any information on this?
According to the four commercial real estate folks that I spoke with, that property does not show up in the database. Any ideas why this could be other than the fact that it is not on the market?
We can only hope that it it true. Perhaps it hasnt been listed but is still being shown. From what I have heard there is a growing list of interested parties so maybe they are showing it but have chosen not to list it with any brokers. Who knows. Some companies do the same thing with job openings. They are not published, but they still have their contacts working to get potential candidates.
