Lemmings: A small mammal with poor vision. Lemmings have been thought to commit mass suicide by following each other off of cliffs and falling to their deaths. The fact of the matter is that lemmings have poor eyesight and tend to follow very closely to one an other as not to loose their way. The lemmings then suffer fatal accidents when the first lemming falls off of a cliff or encounters some other type of danger.
The point to my little story is simple ... lets not rush to judgement as to if a school at 140 Green Pond Rd is what is really in the best interest of the entire town. There is a meeting on March 24 at Copeland, the Board of Education will give more information on the findings of several months of work to detirmine what the needs are and what the option are to deal with the needs.
Please do not be a lemming about this or any other matter in our town. PLEASE learn the facts, get involved and stay involved. The entire town will benefit by ALL of us staying involved.
