Looks like it lasted at MOST 3 or 4 minutes.

Oh well. At least it will be here forever!

I wonder if:

Todd's connection at nj.com is off today - hence his losing batle in 1721 has not been deleted AND he disappeared?

Todd is running back to his bosses to find out what to say / do next and how to react to the article?

Obviously, his 'store' can not be busy with today's weather. Why does he choose first to avoid the question and then not to post when he is caught between telling the truth (the article is correct) and admitting that 'most in town' are NOT fine with the Church or saying that the Daily Record is wrong.

I have seen him act the same way in the past when caught in his lies. He usually disappears for a few hours or overnight and comes back with a complete new spin on the situation.

Looking back at all the times he has done this, it does strike me that he might have orders to stop posting and report back to his superiors when he gets caught in lies or is in over his head.

We should make sure we continue to pursue it! (I love the way someone--I forget who--continues to pursue him with "Todd, do you believe it's possible to follow the law and still wind up in court?" That's another one he can't seem to find an answer to. We should keep on that one too.)

I don't have access consistently to nj.com during the day, so can you guys police that thread, and post additional responses on this thread so we can all have a chuckle before they're deleted, ok?

Someone please ask that Mr. Betz guy, or whatever his name is, why 1721 was deleted and why every time it is reposted, they ban the ip address of the poster AND ban the name it was posted under.

Do you agree with the article in today's Daily Record when it states "The 5,000-member Christ Church's building plan on Green Pond Road, including a 3,000-seat sanctuary and private K-5 school, has generated enormous local opposition"

Do you agree that there is ENORMOUS LOCAL OPPOSITION?

Please tell us which statement is true (only one can be true):

1. There is enormous local oppostion.

2. Most in town are fine, either way.

Note - if you tell us that statement #2 is correct, you are then calling Mr. Jennings of the Daily Record a liar.

Interesting what about all the articles the record has written like 10/5 and the other ones about vorts conflict of interest and the drop in meeting size.

Do you agree when the record brought up those things.

I was hoping for happness today lets hope it works out in a way that will please everyone.

Did the record say most people were against it or did they just say the word local that might mean just green pond rd.

If there was a conflict of interest having VORT members on the site committee, that conflict no longer exists because they left the site committee.

Answer the questions Todd.

Enormous local opposition --> Enormous would imply MANY people.

You have been taken to the mat on this one friend...most people would be fine with a 75 member church that supports our community - not a 5000+ Mega-Compound that does not resemble anything even close to a traditional church (99% of American churches have 75 or less menbers) get your facts straight.

Stop fighting the churches faith if you are against what they want to build that is fine but dont be against who they are.

It is all old news a school might be best for that site anyway.

I hope if a school is needed for the kids you will not fight that to.

I am completely against CC.

I only attended the first meeting. This is a leagal matter. I do not believe my attendence is critical. I do believe OUR town official need the support of the residents. Therefore, it is not a waste of time to attend the meetings.

no one said it was a waste of time. It would of been better to have picked a school for that site before and avoid all of this but to late now lets hope it works out for everyone.

The meeting wcould turn out to not have been nessary if we go with the school idea.

Either way lets hope it works out soon and we can talk about new things. Bye
