The result has been lies from vORT. Do you really think Ireland will lean into that left hook again? Not too bright are you?


 


It is clear that this post was done by Russ Jones as was a previous post by this screen name that refered to Russ Jones book about kids. 


Now lets review the history behind this post.  In September 2003 the PR firm for CC called me to ask for a private meeting with Mr. Irland and myself.  I advised them that Adam, Kim, John and myself would concider a meeting with Mr. Ireland and stated that we would not meet with any PR folks, attorneys or anyone else only Irleland.  The PR guy explained that Irelands wife was a pastor and he would like to bring her, we agreed.  We set a location, date and time.  We arrived for the meeting and waited for Ireland to arrive.  He showed up with his wife, another pastor from the church and Russ and Linda Jones?


We reminded Irleand of the terms under which the meeting was agreed to and that was he, his wife and the 4 of us.  We told him that that is what his representitive agreed to and that was the only way we were going to have a meeting.  We asked the others to leave the building.  They did not leave instead they chose to stay outside the meeting praying while we went to a seperate room, closed the door for privacy and talked.  This is the meeting where David Ireland said "if the community does not want us we will not come" "I made the video 3 years ago" "The community can use the fittness center and fields, we will have to check the schedual to see when" "a food court is not a food court, it is a cafeteria" " a medical clinic is not a medical clinic, it is medical personnel giving advise to church members" "Drug rehab is a similar to a 12 step program" and a few other priceless quotes.


Now not all of these details have been reported in the media, not posted on a message board and not discussed in public.  So 4 people on the CC side were aware of this fact.  Based on this and on the other posts refereing to a DYFS post that had a strange responce about Russ Jones and his book about kids and an offer to give that book to the Stark family, it is clear that this poster is Russ.  The anger, hate and lies in the posts this person is responsible for are very dark and sickening. 


I hope he finds some inner peace soon.

does anyone take that guy seriously besides himself anyway? It seems to me that a guy that may be a few fries short of a happy meal that  champions a self-serving agenda over a community serving agenda might not have any credibilty in the eyes of the even modestly informed.

the 2003 meeting and the rude behavior of vort toward both Pastor Irelands and Pastor Gonzalez has been common knowledge since the day after the meeting... the lies about Russell Jones and his family spread by Lisa Salberg are common knowledge.... Russell Jones does not post on message boards... also, it is common knowledge that the only job he is applying for at the new Christ Church location on Green Pond Road in Rockaway Township is GRASS CUTTER- 10% of his salary will go to support the good works of the Church, the other 90% will probably go to pay exorbitant taxes to RT because of the bad decisions by the mayor and the vorties... RUN FORREST RUN.... ____________________________________________________________


This posting is the most twisted to date.  First of all, I had to check the CC website to see a picture of "Pastor Gonzalez" as I have never known his name.  Yes, in fact the photo of the man named Pastor Gonzalez is the man that was there that night.   What common knowledge was it if I nor my husband, 2 people at the meeting, did not even know his name. 


Secondly, I have never in my life told a lie about the Jones Family.  If they are refering to a nasty post many months ago on the NJ.com that was not posted by me, nor by any member of Voices of Rockaway Twp.  Mr. Jones has angered many neighbors in the past and it was likely one of them.  The Jones family are not an issues in the redevelopment of 140 Green Pond Rd, no matter how Mr. Jones attempts to become part of the issue, he is simply not a factor.


Mr. Jones has clearly stated to several people, some currently running for office that he intends on employment in the role of youth advisor/public speaking.


The facts are what are important here and the protection of the NJ Highlands are what are most important to the vast majority of Rockaway Twp. residents.


The name calling that Mr. Jones and his friend have taken part in is the least Christian action I have seen.  I would think that Rev. Ireland would take a stand and ask them to act in a more professional and civil manner.
