I have been out of town since Tuesday at the Heart Rhythm Society meeting in New Orleans. The good news from New Orleans is that you will soon be seeing a national campaign to raise awareness about the risks of sudden cardiac arrest and how you can protect yourself, your family and most importantly your children. I am happy to be part of a national team of experts in the field of sudden cardiac arrest and various non-profit organizations teaming together to help save lifes and provide education about this important issue. I will encourage you all to know your own family heath history and if you have lost a family member under the age of 50 to a cardiac arrest, heart attack or sudden unexplained death to speak to your doctor about your risk for sudden cardiac arrest.
Now on to local issues. I have had some communication late last week that are - well just say very encouraging. As we know this board is highly monitored by the same people who filled a premature law suit against our wonderful town and therefore I will not post the exact details of what I have learned. I will say the truth has been seen and Rockaway Twp will as always take the high road.
Keep the faith.
Best wishes, Lisa

The Christ Church Plan for the redevelopment of 140 Green Pond Rd is just too big for the area.
I was asked to post a copy of the sticker worn by 98% of the people attending the last planning board meeting it would have been 99.8%, but we ran out of stickers!
