Christ Church did it again. Believe it or not they dropped off new traffic reports on Thursday afternoon for a Monday meeting! Per our attorney it is the size of a small phone book. I sure hope that CC does not think they are going to be able to discuss this new data on Monday night. The law is clear that they must provide data 10 days prior to a meeting to allow all participants time to evaluate the information.
Our attorney will not be present on Monday night for several reasons. First of all he is also a planning board attorney and his town meets the 1st Monday of each month, thus he has a conflict. Secondly, it is his position that it is not proper for the meetings to continue as any board in this situation is clearly under duress. He is submitting a letter to the board with his legal opinion. Lastly, he finds it completely improper that CC continues to provide information late and fails to give anyone a chance prior to the meetings to properly review complex data.
Monday night proves to be an interesting night - I hope to see you all there.
Have an nice weekend.

The Christ Church Plan for the redevelopment of 140 Green Pond Rd is just too big for the area.
That is beyond bizzare???!!!!??? Why in the world would the applicant try to pull another fast one at this point? What a collection of "experts" and "legal counsel" the applicant has assembled...judging by the preparedness so far at the PB meetings, the Federal case will be tossed out on the first day...LOL!
Does anybody know if we will be allowed to attend the Federal court case if it ever get's that far? I will take a day off work to see that spectacle!
For the life of me I cannot figure out why CC plays such games. And this is a church? I wonder what tenets they preach. Could it be dishonesty and greed all in the name of religion? Sad state of affairs when a church stoops so low and to think they have 5000+ members following their path.
