Mr Betz, I would like you to explain why NJ.com has taken a political bias on the Rockaway Township forum. My posts under the name "another WML" have consistently been deleted. I have reviewed the rules and regulations behind this forum and I have not violated any of the rules.
I have complained about this in the past and you simply responded with a form letter. Please be specific. How is it possible that "todddavis" can have posts that are contrary to his belief deleted? Is nj.com a politically biased forum? Is it nj.com policy to allow an individual to edit the opinions posted in an attempt to mislead or create a false impression about the political discussion?
I look forward to your response.
The following is a post that was deleted today.

Don’t you dare say I am angry, because I am not.Don’t you dare say middle ground, because there have been no concrete, reasonable offers, and once Ireland is in, all opposed don’t trust his motives.Don’t you dare say less people care about this, or the majority of people are for the move because of 300-400 people attending a meeting. That many is a huge representative population when looked at in ratio to the other planning board meeting this town has held.
Now onto my message that I am sure you will have some canned reply to.
Why do you continue to say that you believe the majority of people support your cause? You and 1 or 2 other people (and you probably use an alias for one of the nicknames) are the only individuals that I have ever noticed in support.Ohhh, and I am curious....where are the posts from a few people who were claiming that the resistance of the church is racially motivated that I saw in this very board yesterday???????It would be nice to have an opportunity to address them and have of a few of the Rockaway residents against the Churches construction/move here, also explain their reasons. There are concrete reasons that are not racially based, for the residents of Rockaway to continue to fight this new Festival Ground/ Campus that Ireland is trying to construct. All along, the organized resistance, and the people not necessarily aligned with any group, have been taking the High Road. The tax, traffic, infrastructure implications and other assorted reasons are cause enough to shout out against this proposed terrible encumbrance upon the residents of this town.
It has become apparent to those who follow this forum that nj.com is presenting a biased view of the debate of CC vs. RT. If nj.com has a bias, it should state that bias and it should not allow individuals such as todddavis free editorial reign over the opinions expressed.
I do not have unlimited time (as I must work for a living), I am going to look into the legality of this forum posing as a public/unbiased forum.
I personally have not posted anything on nj.com. I only get involved with discussions on this bbs because of the situation over there. However, I would like to make several observations about nj.com.
1. It could become very important to be able to document the censorship occuring at nj.com at some point in the future. The reason for this involves future litigation which may occur between CC and RT and the effect that public opinion has had on this situation. (ie, effect on Jury pool, etc.)
2. If it eventually could be shown that nj.com or someone on its staff is complicit in the censorship, they become culpable for damages down to our township. They (nj.com) should be made aware of this fact.
3. They could also be found to be aiding an abetting the CC cause in a future lawsuit by not correcting the problem(s) that everyone here in RT has been complaining about. The paper trail may become very important in the discovery process which likely will occur in the future. RT may have a very reasonable claim against that venue in a Civil action for their irresponsible behaviour.
