Opening Day

Last I heard CC was planning to have its first Sunday services starting in March. Does anyone know if that is still the plan? If so, this Sunday would be the day.

Oh boy, Oh boy, I can hardly wait. I'm sure the hords of pro CC minions are already lining up to hear the inspiring words of their leader. ("God wants you to give me more than 10%.") Speaking of opening day, it should be interesting around there when fishing season starts. C.

I'm hoping that it will be better than we all fear it's going to be. Time will tell I suppose. Any word on the installation of our new traffic light or the entrance lane on GPR? Oh Joy.

I havent heard a thing about anything happening there. Doesnt seem to be much info flowing anymore. I saw the initial surveying flags that are still there, but other than the new sign, which is still covered up with the old one, I havent seen any work being done. I hope they dont go thru with the traffic light. I would really hate to see all those shops go out because they lose their parking, especially the bagel shop. We stop there often. C.

I read an article about a week or so ago about church capital financing. I think it was in the Star Ledger, but not sure about that. Anyway, it pointed out that churches (and especially megachurches) are having a real tough getting financing these days and a lot of projects are being put on hold or dropped througout the country.

Let's hope so. I think that G-d will survive just fine sans the construction of more megachurches, don't you?
