What a great article!

I wonder what toddles would say about it.

Since it specifically addresses all his usual tactics, he couldn't credibly use them to argue against it...

It would probably be deleted.

It is good to see that others are fighting the RLUIPA nonsense.  It seems that Marci Hamilton is quite educated in these issues and could be a wonderful asset to our problem here with CC.  I noted that her email addy was:

hamilton@AOL.com

Who should be the spoakesperson to contact her about her opinions pertaining to our plight here in RT?  Any volunteers?

I agree that this is an extremely encouraging article. In view of this and the fact that during a lengthy legal challenge the town will still be collecting taxes on the property makes me believe that nothing short of group insanity would cause the planning board to approve this project. Thanks for making this article available.

I hope no one minds, but I sent a quick email to Marci Hamilton with a link to the VORT website asking her if she could give us any help.

Excellent, Linda! Thank you--

Just like many others I'm sure, I kept meaning to...

I have to say, the busier I get the more thankful I am to the VORT folks for all the time they invest in this project.

They and their families deserve a party in their honor when this is over--regardless of the turnout.

The Salbergs & Jenkins' are people we should all model in terms of community involvement.

Where would we be right now with regard to the church, if not for them?
