I read in one of the posts that a light will be installed at CC & Green Pond? Why? I thought the members of CC were not going to impact traffic. We don't have one now, so we wouldn't need one if they come. Right? They said it (about not impacting traffic) we didn't. Happy left turns CC members!
There is no plan for a new light at CC on GP RD, especially since there is no CC on GP Rd yet (nor will there be). There is a new light going in next to the new strip mall that is being built on GP Rd about 2 miles south of where CC is trying to move into.
Hey, by the way, what grocery store is going to be on that site? I had heard Shop Rite but haven't heard for sure.
It sure will be nice to have a grocery store conveniently nearby, so we don't have to go to dover or denville. It'll be paying property taxes and employing our locals, so that's good. Plus it saves us some mileage.
Of course it will increase traffic to the area but at least it provides us with some benefits in return and it's right near route 80 anyway.
