Does this now give Ireland political clout to push the envelope further on his Mega Disaster or just bring him further into the spotlight of his self proclaimed celebrity status?

Mega-church constructing sanctuary in Rockaway Township Corzine names Christ Church pastor to state commission By Rob Jennings Daily Record January 17, 2009
ROCKAWAY TWP. -- Christ Church pastor David Ireland was one of six people appointed Friday to the state Advisory Commission on Faith-Based Initiatives by Gov. Jon S. Corzine.
Ireland, who founded the Christian mega-church in Montclair in 1986, was named to the commission along with Rabbi Amy Joy Small of Reconstructionist Congregation Beth Hatikvah in Chatham.
Ireland oversaw the rise of Christ Church from a small group to a prominent congregation of more than 5,000 worshippers.
The church in 2003 purchased a 107-acre site at 140 Green Pond Road and in 2007 gained local approval to build a mega-church there anchored by a 2,500-seat sanctuary.
Awaiting state approvals, the church received permission in 2008 to build a temporary sanctuary with room for approximately 1,000 people.
Work on the temporary sanctuary is mostly complete and a church official, Rupert Hayles, said that services likely will begin by spring.
But, our taxes will explode because as soon as liarland has his first official service there (even if he only pulls a crowd of 10 people) he is going to DEMAND full property tax exempt status as a fully operating church.
Say bybye to roughly 600 K in town tax revenues and get ready to ante up the difference because I am certain that the township will not be entertaining any cutting of its budget(s).
I thought that explosion I heard was from Picatinni or the quarry..... but it came from the other diection... somewhere on Meridan.... must have been Rat's head
