I just heard that the old ITT Federal Building on Route 3 was just purchased by a Megachurch. What is this state becomming, the Vatican?? We used to have all this great industry here in NJ that provided good jobs and payed taxes. Now these sites are becomming Mega's and will be used by Sharpy so called Ministers who will feed off of the feeble minded folks who are Dumping all of their Assets into the pockets of Charlatons. It's a pretty sad state of affairs, folks but, fun for the feeble minded.
It's interesting that this other megachurch was able to find a site within reasonably close proximity to Montclair. To listen to CC, they've looked for eight years and 140 GPR was the only site available. Makes one wonder how valid their argument would be in court if they go that route.
That is a very good point, indeed!!! That location is at the intersection of Rt 3 and Rt 21 if I remember correctly. Both of those are 4 lane highways as I recall from my olde college days. Am I right? Althought not sure, I suspect that that property was on the market for a long time compared to the HP/Agilent property and a lot closer to "his flock."
I believe that I came across it in one of the newspapers sometime within the last two weeks - - - not the DR. Would have been the NYT or the SL. Also, it was not the main content of the article, but just referred to it as I recall. Sort of a comma after a statement about something else. That is all that I recall about it. It must be documented elsewhere, although it sounded like a new development.
