Christ Church just dropped off more items at town hall...not new plans, not revised plans, but toys. While it is nice that they are offering gifts to children the true Christmas gift to the town would be a letter stating they are sorry for all the trouble they caused and they are abandoning the project.

Make of this what you will, I know what I think.

He still shows love even when others show hate. Giving toys to underprivledged children, many probably from the White Meadow section, is a wonderful gesture.

When the courts see how many things he's done for RT and Morris County and how RT tried to call CC not even a church, he should win easily.

Actually, your statement is not true. mr ireland did not say he had no growth projections, he just refused to give them out.

His exact quote was "I never said I had no projection of growth. I just said it's hard to quantify." (Daily Record, February 24, 2004). In the December 3, 2003 issue of Church Business, mr ireland stated "We have definite plans for future ministries. We work with our strategic plan, looking at where we’re going to be in five years and what we want Christ Church to look like."

He also stated as part of the same interview: “We’ve never lost members from a move...For the past four years, our members have known we’re looking out west and within a 30-minute commute.”

From these statements, one can reasonable conclude that mr ireland expects his full flock to follow him to Rockaway. He has growth projections (albeit 'hard to quantify') that he has not given to our planning board, AND he has a five year stategic plan that includes EXPANSION of HIS ministries - obviously tied in with the move to the new, roomier location.

Obviously, a corporate executive does not spend tens of millions of dollars on a new mega-location without having a strategic five year plan for growth, and as he stated, he has predictions for that growth. My wish for this holiday season is for mr ireland to SHARE his five year plan and growth projections with the citizens of Rockaway Township. We'd MUCH prefer it to a few trinkets given to our children.

If anyone is interested in hearing what ire-land had to say about growth and what he would do to offset his IMPACT on RT, Marla has it all on tape.  She gave me the cassette tapes and said if I want to publish them, it is fine.  If anyone is interested in hearing his comments in his own words when questioned by Maier, let me know.  I can do one of two things:


1. Convert it to MP3 and post it here


2. Make CD's of it and send them out.


 


Nonetheless, it is quite revealing.  This man (who proclaims to be an expert in planning) can not project growth and refuses to do so.  Also, and most importantly, he refuses publically to compensate this town for any inconvenience that he may cause it because of his lack of planning.  That is my own paraphrase of the situation having listened to these tapes.

OK folks -


I want to get Scott and Karens permission first to do so, since they are paying for the bandwidth.  I do not want to just put something up here that takes up lotsa memory compared to text without their permission.  Else, I can sent out CD's to anyone who is interested.  You can contact me or Marla directly at dctools@aol.com. 


Preferrably Scott and Karen will allow us to post the recording(s).  Lets see.  I will call them and see what they have to say about it.

I have tried calling S and K Stark about this.  As yet, we do not know if they want to see this published on this site.


However, I am working with some friends like Craig and his business and some others also, to publish this in a public format.  This is important to hear for everyone in this township.  The attitude of this man is quite revealing, despite the obnoxious insistence on answers by Mr (Rev??) Maier.  It must be heard by everyone, and it will be ultimately.  Give us a few days to figure out the details to make it public so that everyone can judge for themselves who is who and what is what.  Stay tuned.

Hey guys, I wouldn't have a problem with it--the only thing is, that this is just a forum board; in order to post mp3's I think you'd need a bona fide website...maybe I'm wrong.


Maybe it's time to get the www.rtissues.com site up and running, that would facilitate people finding this forum.

I have used Yahoo Geocities free web site service before. It may not provide enough storage for an mp3, but they do offer more space for small monthly fees.

Well,  - - - I have Marla's tapes.  I think that everyone needs to hear them and will do whatever it takes so that people in town can judge who is who here and what is what regarding ire-lands attitude about things that infuluence this township.  Take it from me, ire-land could not care less about this township but for its potential legal responsibility to totally become subservient to him under Federal Law.  This guy is not a man of the cloth.  Wait til ya hear the recording, folks.  Maier is an ashole and a real bastard on this tape, but ire-land is much worse!
