Good grief, did anyone else receive a letter from Ted Doty? My neighbor brought his over to show me.
Incidentally, these letters are addressed to the homeowner BY NAME and mailed, which means some serious money is behind this project. I had no idea Ted had so much cash to throw around! I think I'm going to apply at Lowe's as well.
The content is designed to make RT residents afraid that a size restriction on houses of worship would cause our own churches to move to another community once they grow to a certain size.
Did he pay his fines yet? I was at one of the BOE meetings a few years back when he was blowing steam about how he was being wronged... only to have his case tossed out of court and given fines to pay as punishment.
Now we are getting Junk Mail from this NUT? PLEASE Go away Ted you are the most unproductive person I have met in Rockaway Twp.

This is what I learned from this "letter". I learned that the town is drafting and ordinance to limit the size of new things coming to town...my thoughts GREAT and THANK GOD we need some reasonable limits on growth! Thanks COUNCIL!
I also learned that Ted Doty is a bigger idiot then I thought. Who is showing a 'disregard of the US Constitution' looks like Christ Church wants to limit my free speech - isnt that protected?
Who said anything about how these people choose to pray? I have heard NOTHING about that - all I here is " how are we going to make up for the taxes?" "how much longer is my kid going to be on the bus in all that traffic on GP Rd?" " what is happening to the water?" "what the heck are they talking about with this 'underbuilding' parking??? it is UNDERGROUND no matter how you look at it!" This is what I hear from all my neighbors. Thank God I do not live near Doty.
What the heck is "residents for truth in RT" is that the same group who prayed for God to punish those opposed to this plan? What a bunch of nut jobs!
I have also started posting on NJ.com but it seems that postings get deleted very easy over there does anyone know what is happening? There is one guy there who must be related to this letter in someway none of his posts make any sense.
The venue you describe at nj.com is run by Ireland and CC. It is not available to anyone who disagree with his megachurch plan. That is what hiring a PR man can achieve.
Gee, I feel left out. I didnt get a Doty letter. Guess maybe cause I'm unlisted he didnt find my address. Oh well. I always thought that he was just his own jerk but I cant believe for a minute that he spent his own money for a mass mailing to people he knows disagree with him and wouldnt give him the time of day. He must have gotten some "funding" from CC. So now he has lost his own identity in this and has fully become a CC shill like some others. More power to them. They deserve each other.

There is an awful lot of attention being paid to issues that are not issues......on both sides.Ted's letter was at least articulate.However, well articulated stupidity is still stupidity.
