Hello everyone

Happy New Year to all,
Just to let you all know in the next few weeks there should be some new news on the status of the CC re-development plans.
While things may have been quite lately do not think that this issue is over - in fact it is far from it. There are a few items that will be falling into place soon.

I have been very busy in my other work so have not been able to spend much time on the message board - boy I just stopped by NJ.com - what the heck happened there seems like the same one or two people waisting their time with name calling - how silly is that!

I have been working on some national issues regarding raising awareness of HCM and the need for better health care to assure that all Americans have access to health care. Tomorrow NPR (National Public Radio) will air an interview about an article to be published in this weeks New England Journal of Medicine on the screening of athletes in Italy and the detection of HCM in these athletes. The interview will air on All Things Considered so if you are interested please tune in or log onto NPR's website for the PODcast.

I will be posting more information about the developments on the CC re-development when it is appropriate.

Best to all,
Lisa

Thanks for the glimmers of hope Lisa. It's a bit frustrating wondering what's going on with the CC situation that doesn't make the papers considering what's at stake for our community and the environment. Hopefully this thing will be worked out in a responsible manner. Thanks very much for keeping us as informed as you can. We look forward to hearing more.
