of what to expect with the traffic nightmares if CC gets in. There was a bad accident last nite on the lower section of GP Rd. Apparently several poles came down. Traffic was horendous today. No way for many hours to go north from Rockaway or south from our end of town unless you wanted to take the scenic tour of Picattiny or Boonton. This road is too narrow, winding, and important as a main thoroughfare to have it congested with a few thousand people from another county on a daily basis.
I am sure that Ireland agrees with that assessment. He will insist that the road be widened to accomodate his flock. He will not ask to have it done, he will INSIST on it, and Morris County and RT will have to provide. If the county or township balks at this notion (which would be absurd because RT residents will face total gridlock until GPR is widened) Ireland will simply sue and insist that a reasonable accomidation for his flock is not being provided which is at odds with his rights as a religion. He certainly will win that suit. It is as simple as that. And, please keep in mind that this is no 5000 person church. It is a 20,000 person church.
