Since nobody in town seems to like my other plan (use of eminent domain), consider this:

1. Assemble a citizens group.

2. Use that group to raise between $50,000 to $100,000.

3. With that money, hire a Private Investigation firm.

4. Have that firm discover what this monster is really all about - - - find the skeletons in the closet, so to speak.

5. Provide the results of that investigation to all of the newspapers.

6. Watch the org implode.

This plan beats handing the keys to the town over (and rolling over like a dead dog), which seems to be the prevailing sentiment in town right now.
