David,

When you read this (and you know you will because Ted will point you to it) I want you to ponder the following line that I know your father said to you time and time again while you were growing up.



You live by example, be a leader and not a follower


My personal observation: If this is how you choose to lead it is a pretty poor example and you should rethink and take a step back before you decide to write another letter to the editor.


Enough said.

To the Editor:

In an earlier letter, I had stated that Christ Church's suit against Rockaway Township had been dropped.

It has been brought to my attention that the suit was dismissed with the option to be re-instated. I have been attacked by VORT, a citizens' group, and others who are looking to discredit me because I was presumptuous enough to disagree with the mayor.

Apparently, my comments hit a raw nerve. That could be, but I don't have any trouble sleeping at night.

Well it looks like Mr. Press has it wrong again... VORT did not question anything. When I addressed the town council I did so as a resident, I never mentioned Voices of Rockaway Twp and asked him for clearification of his inapproriate and factually bankrupt comments. Looks like I will be heading back to the town council meeting to readdress this issue.

Mr. Press is attempting to seek attention at any turn and do so by using the Christ Church situation to add fuel to the fire. His actions on the town council have done nothing to foward the interest of the town, regardless of where you live in it. His comments about parking in WML started the problems there with the police, he made a highly inappropiate statement about the new Judge AFTER he was sworn in and then he makes false statement to in the media again. He is really looking for a fight at every turn and you have to wonder why.

I would guess that he is going to attempt to run for mayor against Lou. If that is the case then Lou will win with one of the larges margins in the history of Rockaway Twp.

I dont care if you are for or against any church, thats personal and you have a right to feel anyway you want to but your nasty in everything. are you ok?

The person who has been nasty is Mr. Press, he has choosen to be argumentative with his fellow council members, the mayor and the public. You are welcomed to your opinion, which I completely disagree with and by the nature of your attack and run posting I would guess that you have no idea who I really am but wish to discredit me for your own gain.
